Event match quality is a 1–10 score showing how well the conversion data you send matches a user on the platform. As the score drops, the ad algorithm cannot learn who the conversions come from and optimization degrades.
Fields that raise the score: hashed email, phone number, first and last name, city, year of birth and browser identifiers. Most stores already collect phone and email at checkout but never send them; adding just those two lifts the score noticeably. A score below 6 means serious data loss.
